Description:

Welding hood Speedglas 100:

• It is suitable for most welding applications with up to 12 degrees of blackout when darkened.
• Provides permanent protection (equivalent to blackout level 12) against harmful ultraviolet and infrared devices, regardless of whether the cassette is in the light or dark state and whether the self-darkening function is enabled or not.
• Easy to use and easy to maintain.
• In the dark state it has five different levels of dimming settings, 8-12. (Speedglas 100V)
• The user can set one of three sensitivity levels of the sensor to ensure reliable arc detection (Speedglas 100V)
• It provides excellent visibility in the light (blackout level 3), which facilitates preparation for welding and post-treatment.
• Various options for adjusting the shield, headband and ltr for ultimate comfort.
• It can be used with maintenance-free respirators 3M designed for use in welding.

Chrome hood only:

• Light reflected from the chrome-plated surface is absorbed by the clear cover layer. The measured intensity is similar to that of the black pupa.
• Heat reflects off the chrome-plated surface, which means a cooler environment inside the hood.

Use:

• Speedglas 100 welding hoods are designed for use in most welding processes using technologies such as MMA, MIG/ MAG, TIG and plasma welding.

Approval:

• Speedglas 100 hoods have been shown to meet the essential safety requirements of Article 10 of European Directive 89/686/EEC and therefore carry the CE marking. This product complies with harmonised European standards EN 175, EN 166, EN 169 and EN 379. The product has been tested in the design stage by the DIN Certco Prüf- und Zerti erungszentrum (notified body No. 0196)
