3M™ Speedglas™ 9100V

Features and benefits:

  • Seven levels of blackout including 9-13 (adjustable), 5 for welding/cutting and 8 for microplasma
  • Excellent performance for low-amperage tungsten inert gas (TIG) welding, even at current settings as low as 1 A
  • Each darkening level can be "locked", e.g. light shade 5 for grinding

Welding cartridges 3MTM SpeedglasTM continuously protect welders from the harmful effects of ultraviolet and infrared radiation. This protection remains effective at all times, on and off, darkened and non-darkened. In its undarkened state, the cartridge transmits the green component of the spectrum most. Hence the "green" glass in the welding cartridge.
