Description:

The 3MTM VersafloTM M-Series headsets are a combination device that protects the respiratory organs as well as the eyes and face. Head and hearing protection is also provided on some models. These headsets are intended for use with air delivery systems approved by 3M. In this combination, they form a means of protecting the respiratory system.

• When used in conjunction with specific air delivery systems 3M, the M-300 and M-400 series headsets ensure that the highest parameters and respiratory protection requirements are met.
• The visor provides eye and face protection to EN166 (optical class 1, liquid splash and medium energy impact), all while maintaining excellent peripheral vision and downward vision, as well as being chemical and scratch resistant.
• The M-300 and M-400 series headsets provide head protection according to EN397 (including lateral deformation and electrical isolation).
• M Series headsets are manufactured in a variety of fabrics to accommodate a wide range of industries and applications
• M-106/306 with comfortable seating line. They are used, for example, in paint spraying, in the chemical industry or in the construction industry.
• M-406 with a highly durable collar for construction and heavy industry.
• M-107/M-307/M-407 with fire resistant collar for use in hot particulate environments. - All M-Series headsets:

• They have a fully adjustable headband to provide an optimal fit and allow for even weight distribution

Restrictions on use:

• Asbestos abatement.
• In atmospheres containing less than 19.5% oxygen.
• Cramped spaces (insufficient ventilation).
• In the case of a risk assessment as imminent danger to life or health (IDLH)
• When connected to a TR-302E Powered Air Turbo unit:
  • in the case of concentrations above 500 times the permissible exposure limit (PEL): only M-300 and M-400 series
  • for concentrations above 50 times the PEL (permissible exposure limit): only the M-100 series
• When connected to Jupiter Powered Air Turbo units:
  • in case of contaminant concentration above 500 times the PEL (permissible exposure limit): only M-400 series
  • in case of contaminant concentration above 50 times the PEL (permissible exposure limit): only M-100 and M-300 series
• When connected to V-100E, V-200E or V-500E air systems:
  • in the case of concentrations above 200 times the permissible exposure limit (PEL): only M-300 and M-400 series
  • for concentrations above 50 times the PEL (permissible exposure limit): only the M-100 series
