Handheld CO (Carbon Monoxide) gas detector GasAlert . electrochemical sensor and battery. Audible and optical alarm. Measuring range (CO) 0-999ppm. Simple automatic calibration, a lithium battery with a life of 3 years or 9000 hours and easy one-button operation.
CO measurement range 0-1000 ppm
Description
The new series is IP 66/67 waterproof and in addition the instrument is equipped with an Event Log which records the status of the instrument every 5 seconds, i.e. all operating values including alarms and their details - e.g. when the alarm was declared, how long it lasted, what the gas concentration was, how the operator reacted to the alarm. This evaluation is carried out on a computer. The software is included in the delivery price. The large and brightly lit LCD display shows real-time gas concentrations and instrument status at all times. The self-test checks the sensor, electronics and battery and activates an audio-visual alarm every time the device is switched on. The instrument unmistakably reports the imminent danger and risk of the presence of a hazardous gas - the lower and upper set limits of the gas concentration TWA - the dangerous dose of pollutants (gases) per time period (time weighted average). The measured TWA value of the highest concentration can be displayed on the display. GasAlert's robust and compact design is based on the most advanced technology that reliably screens all existing radio signals. The device can be attached to a lapel, pocket or belt to achieve the best possible protection.
Properties:
- LCD continuously displays real-time gas concentrations. In low light conditions the display will automatically light up : this also happens in case of an alarm and on request
- small size 28 x 50 x 95 mm and weight only 131g
- durable, non-slip surface, IP 66/67
- built-in shockproof frame
- the sound signal is 90dB and the visual alarm is a bright LED light
- battery life is 3 years or 9000 hours
- the built-in vibration alarm can also be used
- simple automatic calibration procedure
- the highest measured gas concentration value will be stored and can be displayed (in ppm or %)
- 4 alarms, the lower and upper values of the instantaneous gas concentration and the hazardous dose of pollutants (gases) per time period (TWA, STEL - 8 hours and 15 minutes) can be set so that exceeding them triggers an alarm.
- measured TWA values are stored and can be displayed to evaluate the accumulated exposure to hazardous gases over the exposure period and are a prerequisite for occupational safety compliance
- classified according to the European CE certification standard and the Mining Authority for underground use
- self-test of all functions: checks sensor, electronics and batteries including alarms
- belt or pocket clip, test kit, batteries and instructions in Czech are included
