Disposable Respirator Moldex 3505 FFP3 molded with valve
Description
Top Respirator Moldex FFP3 3505
One of the best respirators on the market
with ventex valve and washable silicone seal line. Respirator against aerosols, fumes and mists, compliant with EN 149.
It can also be used as a means of prevention against swine flu type diseases. Washable seal lines and a pleated filter allow this respirator to be used significantly longer than conventional respirators due to its larger surface area and thus greater capture capacity.
It is also more comfortable to use because the breathing resistance of the larger filtration area is noticeably lower. In addition, a sealing line made of soft thermoplastic with no known allergic reactions ensures a virtually face-level seal against the half-mask, even when in motion.
The difference between the FFP3 (Moldex 3505) and FFP3 D (Moldex 3405) is the optional dolomitic dust fouling test-the FFP3 D respirators are tested by it, otherwise the standard for the tested capture and filtration parameters is identical.
FFP protection level 3:
30 x PEL = 30 times the permissible exposure limit - general limit value - for dust at the workplace
Use of the FFP 3 respirator: against noxious and carcinogenic dusts, mists and aerosols based on water and oil and noxious and carcinogenic smoke.
Examples: FFP 1 + FFP 2 - aluminium oxide, bauxite, borax, brick dust, cellulose, cement, coal dust, gypsum, limestone, burnt gypsum, pollen, Portland cement, sucrose, sugar, brake dust, calcium oxide, kaolin, concrete dust, cotton dust, granite, hay, lead dust and fume, welding fume particles (not heavy metals), silicone, sodium hydroxide, wood dust (softwoods only), zinc oxide fume. FFP 3 - ceramic fibres, chromates, chromium, cobalt, nickel, microorganisms, radioactive and biochemical active aerosols.
The respirator must be replaced if:
- dust has penetrated the respirator and contamination, odour or other sign of respirator penetration has been detected
- there was a significant increase in respiratory resistance
The respirator must be stored in a dry environment at temperatures between -5 and +40°C.
