Hairline cracks in pipes or seals that have worn out over the years: even the smallest leaks in natural gas pipes can cause major problems. If, for example, you have detected a leak by means of a leakage/operability measurement, the testo 316-1 electronic detector will help you to locate the leak.

Easy location with the testo 316-1 gas leak detector

The gas leak detector convinces with its simple operation: for example, the sensitivity can be easily adjusted using the rotary control. The detector emits an acoustic and optical alarm at the yellow level when measuring from 200 ppm CH4 (methane). From 10,000 ppm CH4 the alarm LEDs turn red. You can tell when you're approaching the point of escape. Thanks to the flexible probe, you can reach even hard-to-reach places and locate gas leaks even in the smallest of alcoves.

With the optional TopSafe protective case, you can also equip your gas leak detector with a safety case that also protects the instrument from dirt and impact.
