Protective equipment with integrated filters, usable as an emergency escape protective mask or for use in environments and circumstances where decontamination is not possible or practical (outbreaks of infectious diseases, etc.). Unlike respirators, it always seals reliably against the face, so it provides more reliable protection, especially when significant movement or talking is required, when the vast majority of respirators cause (albeit short-term) loss of contact with the face on part of the perimeter of the seating line and thus the seal.
It is made of very soft thermoplastic rubber, yet its shape is designed to be universally applicable to virtually all face sizes from about 14-15 years of age. The head system is fully adjustable, the surprisingly low-profile filters are integrated into the face piece of the half mask. Due to the pliability of the material and the construction of the nose area, the use of glasses (dioptric or protective) is also possible for most faces.
