Narcotic gas detector Waeco MSG 150 12/24V

The Waeco Magic Safe 150 gas detector reacts to all common narcotic gases such as ether, butane, ethane, chloroform and trichloroethylene at very low concentrations. At the same time, thanks to the 12/24V/10A switching relay, it enables the operation of other external devices, e.g. an existing alarm or ventilation.

Designed primarily for caravan, truck and bus crews to protect them from being put to sleep by carjackers.

Connection to a car socket, or the cable can be shortened.

For use, the following must be kept in mind:

• The sensor is more sensitive than the vast majority of explosive gas detector sensors. A propane-butane leak can therefore often be detected earlier by this detector than by a conventional explosive gas detector installed in the caravan or cab. In the event of an alarm in a situation where you can reliably rule out the presence of narcotic gas, it is therefore appropriate to check the gas installation and storage tanks. Conversely, it may not properly capture some winter mixtures from disposable gas cartridges. It is therefore not possible to replace a special explosive gas detector with this detector.
• This detector cannot be replaced by an explosive gas detector-their sensitivity threshold is higher, so the alarm is usually triggered too late. In addition, some narcotic gases are not detected at all by odour gas detectors.
