SATURN OXY Comfort oxygen resuscitator Meva
The SATURN OXY is a simple device designed to administer oxygen for short periods of time during respiratory arrest or breathing disorders. The device is particularly suitable for medical, fire, mining and water rescue services, hospitals, GPs, divers and others who require an immediate supply of medical oxygen. For use in harsh field conditions, the unit comes in a massive waterproof case. The basis of the SATURN OXY is a lung machine which is connected to a 2l oxygen cylinder. The basic equipment of the instrument can be supplemented with additional accessories according to the user's requirements.
Use of the device:
- for artificial ventilation of the lungs (artificial respiration) in case of respiratory arrest.
- for artificial ventilation of the lungs during resuscitation for circulatory arrest.
- to support breathing, by deepening the spontaneous breaths of the wounded or sick person.
- to inhale oxygen, if the wounded or sick person is breathing sufficiently.
Shelf life in adults:
- 35 min (at a tidal volume of 0.7 l and 12 breaths/min and using a 15 MPa pressure reservoir)
- 43 min (with a tidal volume of 0.7 l and 12 breaths/min and using a 20 MPa pressure reservoir)
Shelf life in children:
- more than 35 min (with 15 MPa pressure tank)
- more than 43 min (with 20 MPa pressure tank)
The assembly is supplied in a waterproof, shockproof, plastic case.
