Protective Coverall Microgard® 2500 Standard

Lightweight Coverall category 4, 5, 6 with taped seams with the highest classification for protection against biological, infectious agents, blood and blood pathogens including viruses. Designed to meet the needs of research working with all forms of biological agents (including resistance to agents for their destruction) or emergency medical interventions. Due to its properties and resistance to liquids, it is also perfectly suited for the chemical, pharmaceutical and nuclear industries, pickling and painting plants or pressure cleaning.

Level of protection

Type 4 - barrier against saturation by spraying liquids
Type 5 - barrier against material particles and dust
Type 6 - light spray barrier
ASTM 1671 - barrier against viruses, bacteria and blood-borne pathogens.

Microgard® 2500 Standard uses one of the highest quality thin micro-porous layers available for limited life workwear. Most microporous coveralls use thin layers that only stretch in one direction. The Microgard® 2500 Standard layer has the unique property of stretching in both longitudinal and transverse directions during production. The result is high tensile strength and elongation in both directions, resulting in a more durable and harder wearing garment.

Properties

The outer layer of the fabric, consisting of a microporous sponge-like structure, prevents the passage of water molecules, but allows the passage of vapor molecules from the inside out, so the wearer stays fresh and cool.
It has excellent water repellency and protection against less hazardous liquid and dust chemicals.
The Microgard® 2500 Standard coveralls are made of composite material and provide strong resistance to tears and punctures.
High strength, flexibility and stretch ensure comfort and durability.
Extremely strong, unyielding, durable and hard-wearing materials.
Approved according to EN 1149-1 as antistatic clothing.
They come in white.
