Description
Protective Coverall Ansell Alphatec 3000 (formerly Microgard Microchem 3000)
Model 111 - with standard sleeve and leg ends
Ansell The Alpahtec 3000 is one of the lightest and most comfortable chemical protective suits available. Characterised by soft and flexible fabric, strong welded seams and an effective barrier against a wide range of chemicals, it remains the preferred chemical protection in industry.
Level of protection
- Effective protection against hazardous liquid chemicals for Type 3 [pressure spray] and Type 4 [spray saturation] applications.
- The use of ultrasonically welded seams and a resealable zipper flap provides impenetrable seams and closures for added protection.
Properties
- The fabric is a three-layer construction that combines an effective chemical barrier with softness, flexibility and remarkable lightness. This means that the wearer is well protected and gains comfort unmatched by any other Coverall providing similar protection.
- Patented ultrasonically welded seams ensure that no liquid can penetrate.
- The zipper area is protected by a resealable zipper flap, covering the area under the bottom of the zipper.
- An effective chemical barrier is based on a series of chemical penetration tests carried out in accordance with EN 369.
- Microchem® 3000 is antistatic according to EN 1149-1.
Resilience
The coverall is designed for protection against spraying [type 4 - EN 1511] and heavy spraying [type 3 - EN 1512] with liquid chemicals. Textiles are an effective barrier against many hazardous chemicals commonly used in industry and agriculture [see separate list - over 100 chemicals tested]. Its lightness and flexibility provides comfort and allows good wearability.
