Protective Coverall Ansell Alphatec 6000 (formerly Microgard® Microchem 6000)

MICROCHEM® 6000-GTS and GTB are fully encapsulated, gas-tight suits designed for limited use. As a fully encapsulated suit, it is worn over work clothes and breathing apparatus. A number of models are available as described in this manual. In all versions, the waist of the Coverall is fitted with an internal belt. The Coverall must ALWAYS be used in combination with a compressed air breathing apparatus.

The price shown is for the GTB version with integrated boots, single sleeve with external "locking" cuff and butyl rubber gloves.

Other variants are also available (with a "sock" for shoes of the customer's choice, with an inner locking cuff, with double sleeves with thin gloves integrated to the inner cuff for the use of special top gloves... Contact us for consultation and quotation.

Properties

MICROCHEM 6000-GTS and GTB gas-tight suits for restricted use are approved in accordance with Category III
directive 89/686/EEC and the following European standards:

  • EN 943-1: 2002 Protective clothing against liquid and gaseous chemicals, including liquid aerosols and particulates (Type 1a)
  • EN 943-2: 2002 Protective clothing for emergency teams against liquid and gaseous chemicals, aerosols and particulates (Type 1a-ET)
  • They are approved for use with a self-contained compressed air breathing apparatus worn inside the Coverall and are therefore designated Type 1a and Type 1A-ET (for emergency teams).
